Students are finishing multiple projects in their K-5th Art classes in Park 6. These students are finishing their Stained Glass designs after studying the multiple medium creations by Henry Matisse.

The Valley School students traveled to Powell today to present their WORM research and inquiry projects to the Northwest College Education Department students.
The Valley students taught the college students about The Science of Worms, Project Based Learning, The Inquiry Approach and Innovative Learning all while showing their projects that have led to an entire year of Innovative student led learning that has covered literally hundreds of Wyoming State Standards.
The students at Valley School have read countless books, worked collaboratively in multiage groups, written podcasts that incorporated their research findings, conducted research to answer their inquiry questions, designed their own Science projects, documented their learning in marvelous multi media presentations, incorporated STEAM principles, written and drawn their research findings in journals, raised worms , began vermicomposting, developed their own organic soil with vermicomposting, planted seeds in their organic soil to grow under their grow lights and in their green house, and developed amazing public speaking skills while presenting their knowledge and applications to various groups in our community.
The WORM project is part of the RIDE initiative in the state of Wyoming. RIDE stands for Reinventing Innovative Delivery in Education. Park 6 is one of the school districts chosen in Wyoming to be a part of this initiative.
