What a show the sun and moon put on yesterday! Even though Wyoming was not within the path of totality, it was still a memorable experience. Hopefully, you were able to enjoy it in some way. We had over 150 observers (some came more than once and a few stayed nearly the whole time) that came through the CMS Observatory while we had the telescopes set up between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. See the attached photo collage for some highlights! Start making plans for the next total solar eclipse in the US which will be in August of 2044!!

Cody Middle School is in the process of updating the 6th - 8th Grade Guitar curricular resource for the upcoming school year.
This book will be available for public review at the Park County Library in Cody WY from March 11th to May 6th.


Join us for our 2nd annual Park 6 Family Literacy Night at the Museum.
We will have many literacy activities geared toward PreK - 5th grade students. Light snacks will be provided and don't forget that your family can be entered into a raffle to win a literacy-themed basket.


Cody Middle School, and High School as well as Heart Mountain Academy scholars attended the Big Sky Writing Workshop at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West this week. The kids spent the day exploring their voices and creativity with professors from MSUB.









Cody Regional Health, Cody High School, and Heart Mountain Academy "Kick Off" another trimester with Health Career Pathways for a second round of new scholars.

STATE CHAMPION ESCORT TONIGHT, Saturday, March 2, 2024 - Firetruck escort thru town for TWO state champion teams tonight. The bronc and filly indoor track teams are on their way home as STATE CHAMPIONS. Meet at the OLD airport entrance at approximately 9:30 pm if you want to follow the team and firetruck thru town. An ETA update will be posted when they get closer to Cody.

Today we held a community partnership event at Livingston Elementary, "Leap Into Reading". Members of our community and school district came to read to all of our students throughout the day. Students enjoyed listening to stories and asking questions. We thank all of those who came and volunteered their time to read to our students. #livyrocks
