Students would like to genuinely thank all of the local community members and businesses who donated items for us to recycle into our Western Collage Art
Project! We appreciate the :
*1000 pieces of high quality scrap wood that was generously donated by DIAMOND TRUSS , MIDWEST FENCING and other community members
*150 western magazines donated by the CODY COUNTRY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
*Countless volunteers from the Cody Schools, Northwest College, Cody Broncs and Fillies; and employees from the businesses above who donated their time to prepare the materials, load the materials, and delivery the materials to the elementary schools.
*The NORTHWEST COLLEGE Education students and graduates who continue to bring ART in the elementary schools each week
*****Isn't it awesome to see our community collaborating and recycling to bring awesome Art opportunities to our students? The students learned how recycling, collaborating, and studying Western Art can all work together! We are blessed to live in this awesome community of Cody, Wyoming!!!

Our K-5th students have been working diligently on their Google Doodle projects! Google is offering an amazing prize package for the 2023 Google Doodle winner! The winner will receive a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology award for their school. Please sign your child's permission slip and send back to their homeroom teacher ASAP - If you want your child to participate. The students will work on their Art work entirely at school! Thank you for your continued support of our program!

The 2023 Wyoming All State Jazz Band, Jazz Choir, and Jazz Ensemble performed in Casper on Tuesday, January 31st. Alivia Hatch was in the jazz choir, Hayley Pearson-Horner was in the jazz ensemble, and Nickoli Kumm was in the jazz band. Mr. French was also selected as the director of 2023 Wyoming all state jazz band.
Problem solving and critical thinking creates FULL engagement in social studies today. Engaged first in a student led history discussion/debate fully led by Ida Tallen called “Come at me Bro”. Currently students are collaboratively working to solve an escape room puzzle based on woman’s suffrage.

HMA junior, Lindsey Zangarine, job shadowed at Dr. Walton's Dentistry office today. She is currently taking a Dental Assistant class at HMA and is now connected through job shadowing to get a closeup and personal experience. Dr. Walton and his staff gave Lindsey a first-class look into the operations of the office and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Dr. Walton and staff. 💙🖤
