Livingston School: BIG NEWS TO SHARE

Livingston School: October: Favorite Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
Students and teachers are asked to decorate (not carve) a Pumpkin as their favorite book character. This is voluntary-not required. These pumpkins will be displayed in the library Oct. 3rd - Oct. 24th. Winners will be announced Oct. 24th. The public library is having their pumpkin contest Oct. 24th thru 31st. The hope is that our students will take their pumpkins to the public library and display them there.

Livingston Families: 9/30/22 LAST DAY!
Final Collection Day will be TOMORROW, September 30th for the reading log,
donations, and donation log.
All prize drawings will take place after the final collection on September 30th. The two students who read the most and the two students who raised the
most money will be awarded an additional prize.
Thank you for your support in helping your child to keep reading and raising much
needed funds for our school!


Bedtime stories? Why not lunch time stories too?!? Mrs. Marks is so awesome!

This is a story time for the whole family with brand new books, followed by milk and cookies. Kids may wear pajamas and bring a stuffed animal and pillow!

Livingston Families: CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED FOR OUR TITLE I
TRUNK OR READ!!!
CALLING ALL LIVINGSTON FAMILIES... We need your help to
make this a big success and a super fun time for our students, so we
are asking our families to PLEASE donate 1 large bag of candy (or more) if you can. You can drop the candy off in the front office or send it with your student.
Please make sure the candy you donate is individually wrapped. Your donations will be a big help in making this event successful!
We are anticipating a large number of students to attend our Title I night and we want to make sure we have enough candy to share with our Trunk-or-Readers!!
So please help us make this event a ‘fun’tastic trunk or read celebration for our Livingston kids.
**Deadline for candy is FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7TH.

Who- Livingston 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders (limited to 15 students total)
What- An opportunity to learn digital design, help teachers, and create one-of-a-kind crafts
Where- Mrs. Warner’s Classroom
When- Starting October 17th, every Monday and Thursday from 3:15-4:15 pm
Why- Provide a service to our school community by designing bulletin boards, posters, teacher requests, etc.
How- Mrs. Warner, Ms. Swank, and Mrs. Thiel will facilitate digital design using various Cricut machines and techniques.
Please sign and return this permission slip to Mrs. Warner- We will take the first 15 students to sign up. There is a late bus that runs at 4:20pm but has limited drop-off areas. If your child needs transportation using this bus please specify.
We are looking forward to getting this club up and running!
