Park County School District 6 Families,
We have been monitoring the weather for Wednesday, December 21st. Currently, we remain scheduled for a full day of school. Our transportation department is prepared to transport our students on a warm bus to and from school. Please make sure your scholar has dressed appropriately. According to the forecast, the winds will slightly be decreasing, and we will see a small (very small) rise in the temperature around dismissal. We will keep you updated if there are any changes in our plan.
Thank you for all your support. Have a wonderful holiday and a happy new year.
Vernon Orndorff
Proud Superintendent

Livingston School: MAKER SPACE AFTER SCHOOL
A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside our library for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. In our makerspace we have 3D printers, a glowforge (laser printer), sewing machine, coding toys, legos, tinker toys, cardboard, art supplies, etc.
Our goal in the Livy Makerspace is for our students to have a maker mindset of creating something out of nothing and exploring their own interests. The Livy makerspace will provide hands-on learning, help with critical thinking skills and even boost self-confidence. Our students will learn skills that they can take with them after they leave here.
I am excited for this new space in the library that everyone can use!!!
