A big thank you to Rocky Mountain Mudd for helping us celebrate our teachers this week!
Teacher Appreciation Week 7th-10th! Thank a teacher!

Kindergarten Family Night: Check it out.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6–10, and the WDE is celebrating why we love teachers! Wyoming teachers are always rising to the challenge and innovating both inside and outside the classroom to best meet the needs of students and families. Although this celebration is only a week, their efforts make an impact each and every day.
Students, families, and community members can join the WDE and Superintendent Megan Degenfelder in celebrating online by using the hashtag #WYWeLoveTeachers. Educators can use #WYILoveTeaching to share why they are inspired to teach. Add giphy stickers to your posts by searching wyweloveteachers or wyiloveteaching.

This week we start with a NO SCHOOL Monday! Please watch for your student's grade-level events that are happening this week.

Our school talent show will be on Thursday, May 30th, which means that auditions for it are just around the corner! Students are welcome to prepare any unique or entertaining talent that they have and share it with the entire school on that Thursday morning.
To make sure that it’s an exciting, safe, and well-prepared show, we are asking students who are interested to come in and audition for a spot in the performance. Students may share their talent by themselves or in a group no larger than five.
The available audition times are before school or during afternoon recess. The sign up sheets are posted outside the music room, and the available slots will start on Tuesday, May 7th, and will go through Friday, May 17th. Please have your students bring any props, instruments, or materials that they need for their act from home on the day of their audition, but they will not need to come in costume.
If your student’s talent is something that cannot be performed in the gymnasium (think horseback riding, ice skating, stunt biking, or anything else that needs more space or could damage the floors) they are still welcome to participate. Please email a video of them performing their talent (less than 3 minutes long, please!) to arianejoskow@park6.org.

This is a reminder that Livy Rocket Day will be Tuesday, May 14th. All students will construct their rockets in science class. If you have any questions, please get in touch with csmith@park6.org.

Please continue to have your student check the LOST AND FOUND.

Mrs. Nix and her reading group brushed up on their technical reading skills by creating robots! #livyrocks

Thank you, Mrs. Elder, Mrs. Moir, Mr. Preston, and Mrs. Waddell for serving this wonderful community. We will forever cherish the memories and friendships that you made here at Livingston School and throughout Park 6.

Livingston families, please note that due to the unused snow day, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 6th. Enjoy the long weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone back in session on Tuesday, May 7th.

Thank you to our local Game and Fish Department, Phil Quick and Joe Skorupski. They came by today to show our students a beaver that was trapped and discuss habitat management. #livyrocks #communitypartners
