Park 6 is committed to ensuring active, evidence-based literacy instruction in all content areas across all grade levels. We have employed professional literacy instruction coaches to increase the percentage of educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement evidence-based literacy practices; to have children entering kindergarten ready to read; to have students reading proficiently by the end of grades 3 and 5 and to have graduates with the literacy skills necessary for college and careers.
